The Only Stand: Hammered Dulcimer – Extra Tall Model
If you’ve never been able to find a stand tall enough for you, then we have the solution! Our Extra Tall Model is for folks over 6 feet and is designed for standing use. This stand cannot be lowered far enough for standard sitting height, but it can be lowered enough so that most tall people can use it as a sit-down stand with a tall stool or adjustable drum throne.
Please contact us before placing an order, so we can be sure this stand will work for you. To ensure the stand is properly balanced and the right height, we will need to know the model or and/or the dimensions of your dulcimer and the following measurements using your current stand:
the distance from the floor to the bottom of the front rail of your dulcimer
the distance from the floor to the bottom of the back rail of your dulcimer
If your current stand is too short for you, give us the measurements above and estimate how much higher it would need to be for your best comfort.

All stands are finished with several coats of clear, durable polyurethane, are available in the variety of webbing colors shown below, and are made to order.
Stands are made to order and orders are filled as quickly as possible – usually within 2 business days unless we are traveling or in the process of replenishing our stock of parts.
